ny2fly 39 Posted February 16, 2014 I must say that this has been the first time that I have ever read or experienced any back in the day bigotry. That comment was completely unnecessary. This is 2014 where clearly we type without thinking. I suppose the person that made the comment would have been offended if it was made to them in regards to their race. Better if the post was just deleted. And for the record I well educated, a RN and raised in NY and now live in the south. The only time I've heard that term used was with "redneck hillbillies". Now getting back to the question. Please eat healthy Snacks when you get the munchies. If there's any negative replies don't waste your time. 3 Cherryhair, fcharles and luv2plumb reacted to this
KristinaRnY 455 Posted February 16, 2014 It would have been better to just have left it alone like it has been, instead you have the audacity to come on here and use the term redneck hillbillies. Quit stirring the pot. 3 HotButterFly, Froggy63 and Nevermind reacted to this
SIJoe 111 Posted February 16, 2014 "Colored"? Only some white trash trailer park moron would use this word. I say this in a loving way, because I love and respect people of all races. And while we're on the subject of hateful words, there are a number if people here who like to use the word "fat" - very hateful really.
ElyQuint 446 Posted February 16, 2014 Did you stop smoking pre or post-op if so for how long? When did you start back? My doc said 10 days before and after. 1 luv2plumb reacted to this
zoeonelove 17 Posted February 18, 2014 Did you stop smoking before surgery and how often did you smoke when you got home daily? Every other day? I smoked the night before surgery and I smoked maybe once or twice a day after surgery and made sure to take small hits so I didn't cough. I'm almost 10 weeks out now and smoke whenever I feel like and I have had no problems. 1 jessiquoi reacted to this

Being fat so let's hug and leave the outside issues out side Black / white. jdmama911 224 Posted February 18, 2014 I smoke it instead of using anti depressants. It evens me out mentally without all the insane side effects of pills. Anyway, I smoked up throughout my pre op and an 5 mos. post op doing great. I do occasionally get the munchers, but I eat healthier Snacks if that happens. I'm doing "excellent" according to my surgeon. It helped A LOT after surgery. I had trouble getting in fluids for quite awhile. But, after smoking I would have a little dry mouth and was able to tolerate more liquids. PM me if you ever want to 3 jessiquoi, KristinaRnY and luv2plumb reacted to this

JEM352 25 Posted February 18, 2014 I stopped smoking 2 weeks prior and started approximately 3 weeks after. I always make a nice chocolate Protein Shake with skim plus prior to going into the garage to partake. And I usually wait until the wife and kids are in bed before I indulge. If I get the munchies I have the shake to sip, and with the quality of the ganja these days it's not long before I am so relaxed I'm too lazy to get out of bed to go downstairs to the kitchen. 2 jessiquoi and Froggy63 reacted to this
