Katcloudshepherd 630 Posted January 27, 2014 Arts137, Thank you for the link. I know I am a food addict. I went to Overeater's Anonymous for over a year in an effort to lose weight. The fellowship was great. Thank God for the tool I have now. I did learn to take one day at a time at those meetings and live in the present.

HHHappy 225 Posted January 27, 2014 I'm a food addict, too. I've always told people who stressed eating more vegetables to lose weight... that wasn't the problem! Veggies don't satisfy my palate unless there is butter on them or some type of cheese sauce.
Teachamy 1,042 Posted January 27, 2014 It's excellent that the modern medicine is finally recognizing food addiction. 1 jaxhdsn reacted to this
jdmama911 224 Posted January 27, 2014 Oh that article describes me to a T. Although, I've been doing really well about binging on things. It hasn't happened in a couple of months! Thanks for posting 1 jaxhdsn reacted to this
BladeFox 235 Posted January 27, 2014 Thank you for this article. There is more report on the food industry and how processing has created a population of obesity as well. This is a much greater issue than overeating. 1 BKLYNgal87 reacted to this
