umrebel 13 Posted January 24, 2014 Writing myself ready for my sleeve on Tuesday -- anything you'd recommend I have at home for after surgery? 1 sweetjam69 reacted to this
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted January 24, 2014 Heating pad, immersion blender to make Protein Shakes, mini food processor for the puree stage, big insulated mug (Bubba kegs work well) to keep your drinks hot or cold, a big variety of approved drinks (mine were G2, Powerade zero, light fruit juice, Decaf tea and decaf coffee, V8, skim milk, and kefir), big variety of Protein Powder samples, and a digital kitchen scale. You won't need the scale right away, but you should have one eventually! 2 BigGirlPanties and sweetjam69 reacted to this
Carlotta1 401 Posted January 24, 2014 sugar free Popsicles really refreshed me from dry mouth or nasty taste in my mouth. And when it would be difficult to est or frink..my Popsicle helped. I still eat one at least 3 x a week. Do u also have a fever thermometer just in case u need it. I also enjoyed warm broth in the first week. Get a good name branded one.
