Sex after surgery

How long asurgeryfter surgery should you wait before returning to normal sexual activity. I'm 9 days PO so I'm not sure how long i should be waiting. My Dr didnt say how long to wait. Does it vary by person or is there a set time frame for everyone after surgery. Advise please.
