CharlieMom24 3 Posted January 25, 2014 I just had surgery on Tuesday and can definitely still feel all the bubbles. Every day seems to get a little better though. 1 Fourstarmom reacted to this
Lady Pink 3 Posted January 25, 2014 I am now 4 days post surgery and I am feeling a lot better. I am starting full liquid diet today and am a little nervous so I will be taking very little steps today. Thank you to all of you for your advice it really helps a lot. For those of you that just had surgery as I did, we are going to be fine I just know it. Lets keep our heads up and find the positive in everyday! I am four days out today and I couldn't have said it better than Fourstarmom. I feel so much better than I did on Day 2. I still have some gas pains but they are subsiding. I am on a full liquid diet and I've had pudding, Jello, a pudding pop and Protein drinks. I'm still not getting everything I need but I'm well on my way to getting there. The change in two days has been remarkable. We will get through this - even if it's one day at a time or even one minute at a time!! 1 Fourstarmom reacted to this
bertey 9 Posted January 26, 2014 Hi Fourstar, I also had surgery on Tuesday but came home Wednesday night. Thursday i felt awful and had chills. It hurt to get into and out of bed. And trying to roll on my side in bed made me feel like a beached whale! Friday was my day to say what did I do to myself because I must have drunk too fast and got the burps and the foamies. Today (Saturday) I feel much improved although I still have a sharp pain in my right side when I have to get up from a seated or lying down position. If it weren't for that I'd feel great. And as a true hypocondriac, every pain in my leg I think is a blood clot! I don't even mind the clear liquid diet! All the best to everyone and thanks for sharing. It helps to know I'm not alone. Disabledaccount 154 Posted January 26, 2014 Congrats the worst part is over and will start to get better as time passes and you begin to heal. It'll get better, just make sure you follow your dr's orders. 1 Fourstarmom reacted to this
