Be been stalling the last 2 weeks for sure but it could be more. I wasn't eating much Protein and I started having 4oz of mashed potatoes 2-3 a week. I was also having watermelon. I was getting no more than 20g of Protein. I can't stand Protein shakes tried almost everything everyone recommended. To make the story short, a friend here whose name is Linda told me to cut the mashed potatoes and watermelon out of my diet and I listened. That day, I threw them out and bought whipped cottage cheese and started eating 1-3 a days and light and fit Greek yogurt 2-3 a day. They are half the calories, carbs and sugar as Chobani. This morning I woke up and lost 3lbs since my last weigh in which was 4 days ago. I also walk for an hour with my co-worker during our lunch and I worked out everyday but now that I started school, I could only go Friday-Sunday. So excited that 3 more lbs and I will never be on the 190s weight range woohoo :)

Even though I was sad and angry I didn't give up my diet and I tried and tried. This is my third week after surgery and I guess losing 22lbs in 3 weeks isn't bad at all... I should be happy :)

What a great attitude! You are doing great. The only thing is check the Protein on your yogurt. You are interested in protein per calorie as well as just calories. I know chobani has great protein numbers (not as good as cottage cheese though)! I have the plain fat-free chobani with some sugar-free flavoring or a half teaspoon of jam for flavoring.

PLEASE PLEASE stop eating Potatoes!! SO SO SO NO NO NO.. 4 oz is way to much potatoes,,. Your total intake should be 4-6 ounces,, Dont give up on this. Potatoes expand as they go down .. You wont be able to fit anything else.. ,,, Keep going. Its not a race. The idea is to sustain the loss. stalls happen typically month3 and month 6 they they do fluctuate and last 2-4 weeks.. The way to break the stall is workout a little more and Protein..

I wish you the best

Chris

She did stop. And anyway potatoes in moderation are part of lots of people's plans. No reason to yell. :)

Thank you. Yes I stopped eating potatoes completely. I realized they were not good for me. Maybe that is the reason why I wasn't losing weight. Yes this is not a race but still haven't seen a difference haha. I am doing everything I can to eat right and workout as much as I can. Hopefully I won't stall again for another couple of weeks. Finger crossed
