Domika03 309 Posted January 23, 2014 Hi, I was just curious how long people have waited before being intimate with their partner after being sleeved? I has a band removal & revision to the gastric sleeve. My left side is definitely still sore & I worry how uncomfortable any movement (you know what I mean) will feel. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks, Fran
allyrenee222 25 Posted January 23, 2014 I was told 1 month after I had mine done. The first time I was really really worn out. More so then I was with extra weight.
gomekast 559 Posted January 23, 2014 I'm 3 months out and we haven't yet. But..we have 2 small kids and I have a mild complication that has kept me from feeling all that great yet.
rls41998 91 Posted January 23, 2014 I waited 2 weeks. I wasn't sore any more and was cleared to drive too! 1 Lainey3074 reacted to this

jinxxy5 151 Posted January 23, 2014 One week...but the answer is when you feel up to it. :-) 2 Lainey3074 and MimiBronxNY reacted to this
PdxMan 4,292 Posted January 23, 2014 I was told whenever I felt up to it. Just no swinging from the trapeze or circus acts. 4 days for me. No problem. It was actually quite nice as it was very slow and sensuous. 2 endless80 and smartsiowa reacted to this

kan75251 66 Posted January 25, 2014 We waited 3 weeks and it was fabulous! I think as soon as you feel up to it, you can.
Comfy_Blue 285 Posted January 26, 2014 I think we waited about 3 weeks because the incision where they actually removed my stomach was extremely sore and hurt so much when I exerted myself (even just walking around) and would throb. it still feels tender which I press it. Even now, I am afraid to put too much pressure on it, so I'm always on top
Cindy Quebedeaux Breaux 9 Posted January 30, 2014 I am having trouble in this department. I have no desire. Life can't go on t like that because my husband has his needs. Does anyone out there have the same problem. Any solutions

Katcloudshepherd 630 Posted January 30, 2014 Cindy Quebedeaux Breaux, I know exactly what you mean. Between work and taking care of the house and husband--Jeez, I'm to tired to even think of it. I don't even have children. I don't know how you moms do it? Work at home or outside the home, take care of children, household and husband? I have a great amount of admiration for you. I also suffer from depression and take Zoloft--which doesn't exactly help the libido. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to your question. The only time my hubbie and I are intimate is on the weekends. We almost have to schedule it so that we're both rested and up to it. My husband is 100% disabled so he has to be up to it too---no pun intended ; ). We waited over 5 weeks after my surgery, even though my surgeon didn't put any restrictions on when we could "get busy". Blessings, Kathleen
endless80 697 Posted January 30, 2014 Well, it was about 2 weeks for me. Maybe 3. But I was taking matters into my own hands before that. lol 1 smartsiowa reacted to this
