wcn1970 239 Posted January 22, 2014 Personally hit my "goal" a while ago and realized I easily could go on. My wife had a goal 10lbs below my goal so I would have "some wiggle room". I have decided to shred a little bit so I cut out carbs and stepped up my training a touch. Holy quick response... I am about there and stoked at how quickly my body is responding to things now. Anyone else notice that ability as well? 1 dawalsh reacted to this
Fiddleman 4,376 Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) Yup- throw in some intense workouts, low carb and drink lots of Water over 1-2 weeks and it is easy to drop 5-10 lbs. I think it has something to do with the high rate our BMR is now set to. It requires some careful attention to meal timing in terms of eating the right quantity of the right food types at the right time of the day. Once you zone into the metabolic sweet spot of your body, losing is quite "easy." At least that has been my experience in the few months to quickly drop 5 lbs here and there when it creeps a little. wcn1970 239 Posted January 23, 2014 Just eating/drinking good Proteins, sticking with the Aminos and creatine and then fitting in fruits and veggies and the occasional handful of nuts. Working splendidly. 1 Fiddleman reacted to this
DLCoggin 1,788 Posted January 23, 2014 Absolutely! It is nothing short of astounding how precisely I can manage my weight with very little effort. Lose a few pounds - no problem. Gain a few pounds (yup, I've had to do it a time or two - lol) - no problem. I don't know about you guys but the key for me - monitor closely and react quickly! B-52 7,113 Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) Well, I am a banded person.....little different than the others.... However, I did have this discussion with my Dr....about reaching goals...and his response was "Whose Goal?" "Your Body will stop when it is ready to stop" In other words, I was Obese because I lived a very bad lifestyle..primarily eating...how much, how often, and the trash I would eat... NOW...I have adapted a new lifestyle...eat considerably less, and make good food choices... If living a bad lifestyle added my weight and body fat, then living a healthy lifestyle will only lead in the opposite direction...and eventually level out...reach equilibrium.... And that is exactly what has happened...I continued my new lifestyle, and I continued to loose weight and body fat way beyond my expectations, and it has settled out in a healthy, normal range....that was 2 years ago... I have continued living that lifestyle, and I have not gained, nor lost any weight in at least 2 years...and my new eating habits and exercise routine has not changed either...and I do not expect them to if I can help it...
