MRWILLIA6871 8 Posted January 22, 2014 I am six months out and I am so hungry in the evening. I'm concerned. I need to do something to curb my appetite. Any suggestions?
lsereno 2,525 Posted January 22, 2014 If I don't eat enough earlier in the day, I get a raging hunger at night. I am up for several hours after dinner, so I plan a small evening snack in my daily calories. If I am bored and want to munch, I have a calorie free drink and find something to do besides watching TV, which can be an overeating trigger for me. I take Prilosec. If you don't, it may be acid masquerading as hunger. If I don't get enough fluids, I want to eat more. Hope one or more of these tips help. Lynda
funmama707 2 Posted January 22, 2014 Ditto to the acid. I still have acid bad. Maybe budget for some low cal Snacks? Boiled egg, sliced turkey and cheese stick?
scarlet333 386 Posted January 22, 2014 The nights are a tough time for me too. I am a night owl and stay up quite late and find myself snacking too much. One of the things I am trying is to drink an EAS Protein shake which is just 100 calories and 17 grams of Protein. I find that this sometimes hits the spot. Carlotta1 401 Posted January 22, 2014 When I get myself tired..I notice my hunger shoots up. So I try to slow down my life by take an afternoon nap, relax, or postpone my errands. Also if i do get the hunger feeling, which is not often, I eat a sugar free Popsicle. It is refreshing and only 5 calories.
