abarta83 118 Posted January 21, 2014 I just ate a whole cup if Greek yogurt..and looked on the side and realized that's 5.3 oz! Can you guys eat a whole one?
SeriJ 16 Posted January 21, 2014 I was sleeved the 16th and can easily handle a whole container of yogurt, pudding or Soup. I don't know what "full" feels like on this new stomach yet and it's kind of confusing me. 1 pancake1271 reacted to this
gomekast 559 Posted January 21, 2014 I was sleeved 3 months ago and I can't eat a cup of anything yet.
abarta83 118 Posted January 21, 2014 I definitely know full..it squeezes and hurts and comes with hiccups and belching sometimes...lol...but the yogurt today..maybe I just ate too fast
pancake1271 57 Posted January 21, 2014 I was sleeved on 1/13/14 and I can eat a whole cup of yogurt too! 1 PurpleKite reacted to this
magtart 603 Posted January 21, 2014 I can eat a whole yogurt, but it is not an 8 oz. cup. I think it around 5 oz.
abarta83 118 Posted January 21, 2014 OK..I wont be overrun with guilt if it happens again...5.3 oz just seemed like a lot..but awesome protien and low calories..:-)
hair176 7 Posted January 21, 2014 I can eat a whole 5.3 0z. cup with no problem. My surgery was Dec.26 and I have had no problem as long as I eat slowly.
mythbuster1304 10 Posted January 22, 2014 I'm at 6 days out and can eat the Dannon Light and Fit cup blended with no problem. I think it's also 5.3oz, plus it has 12g of Protein. It does take me around and hour to go through one of those cups though.
PurpleKite 7 Posted January 22, 2014 I've experienced this too...but it seems to come and go. A couple of times I've had to give my boyfriend the container to finish, and then other times I've been able to eat the whole container without batting an eye! 2 Mammecan and abarta83 reacted to this
1mjs 16 Posted January 22, 2014 We compare ourselves too much! But I do it too! I think if you ate it fine with no problems then don't worry. I am only a week out and I can almost finish a whole one myself. (Over a period of time) if you are like me, then you are afraid that something isn't right with your sleeve and that you won't loose much weight. Oh we worry too much don't we? 1 SeriJ reacted to this
TheNewSleevedJulie 43 Posted January 22, 2014 I was sleeved on 12/30 and I was able to eat at least 3/4ths of the yogurt cup. The thing is since it's so soft it goes right through. Imagine cutting yourself off at a cup of Water. I guess everyone's different and it might even change
Schmincke 118 Posted January 22, 2014 Yogurt cups are different sizes just like sleeves. I'm 8 days after Surg and can eat a 4 oz dannon light & fit
Amanda Nicole Hosaflook 65 Posted January 22, 2014 I'm 2 weeks post op and can't have yogurt yet! Maybe tomorrow! I can't wait!
