lrgandwrg 37 Posted January 20, 2014 I was wondering how everyone is doing on their journey? I am finally past the rough parts and life almost feels normal except I need to watch out for snacking.
AshleyMidwife 189 Posted January 23, 2014 I had surgery dec 9th 2013 and have lost 40lbs so far. Finally am eating normal foods and feeling much more like myself. Still pretty low on energy especially with a long work day but working on getting calories in. Hydrating as best I can, but that's a work in progress too. Where are you at in your journey? Your doing great. I had my procedure jan 31,2013. I have lost 97 lbs and 17 more to go until goal. I have so much more energy. This was the best decision I ever made. 1 AshleyMidwife reacted to this
Guest drowdie Posted March 3, 2014 Hello WA friends! I'm happy to say "hello!" I'm Pre-op and still having some day to day ambivalence as it draws closer.
Patsypatrice 44 Posted March 14, 2014 Hi I am from Spokane but we winter in Arizona. I am 73 & do not think I could qualify in the states so I went to Obesity Control Center in Tijuana highly recommended by friends & research. I was sleeved on 2/26 & have lost 21 pounds since I started the Pre-op diet 15 days before surgery. I followed all instructions & have had no complications at all. It was a very positive experience & was only $6500 including a 4 night stay at Marriott Hotel. Dr Ariel Ortiz has been on Sr. Oz, the Doctors, Night line & Dateline. Clinic picks you up at San Diego airport & takes you to Hotel round trip. Marriott takes us to hospital. My four buddies were from Toronto Canada.
