pjackson0523 158 Posted January 19, 2014 Okay, I'm 3 months out now. Since surgery I've had the feeling of being full after 3 or 4 bites of food and I figured this was normal. I'm now at 3 months out and I still can't eat more than 3 or 4 bites of anything. I've never had any nausea just this full feeling and a pain right below my breastbone. I always place a heating pad on my stomach after I eat because it just helps ease the pain. Does anyone else have this or know what this is??? And, should i still be having this at 3 months out. I'm meeting with a personal trainer now and he doesn't think that is normal. I only get in about 750 calories a day, if that. And I'm never able to get in my fluids. 1 BabySheldon reacted to this

awold0 246 Posted January 19, 2014 When I was 3 months out I was the same. I also had and have the feeling just below my breast bone. This is when I have had enough and stop eating. I still measure my food but never finish it. If it was slider food then yes I could eat more. Since I stay away from slider foods I always have this feeling after I eat about 4 to 6 bites. I think now that I am 6 months out it really is the same for me. When I eat Protein and veggies I get this feeling. If I eat let's say pureed sweet potatoes then I could eat more. I too was eating around 600-800 calories a day in the beginning. I am around 1,000 a day now. On work out days I am more like 1200.
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted January 19, 2014 I have a slight stricture that kept me from eating more than 3-4 bites at a time at your stage, too. It wasn't until about 6-7 months that I could eat 10-12 bites. I like it like that, so I chose not to have it stretched.
