Just so you know when you think it doesn't work I can tell you it definitely does. You have to work with it.

You can believe it did not happen over night. It took three years and I never complained about my weight stalling for long periods. I just stuck it out and with a lot of work on my eating part it does work.

I'm learning that. I'm 6 months in but have not lost a pound since September. I'm going to increase my workouts. I'm sure it will start to come off again. I'm down 4 pants sizes and feel great so I'm not complaining at all. I didn't gain this weight in 6 months and I know it will take a lot longer than 6 months to get it off. I feel better than I have in years and I am enjoying buying clothes from the regular rack and not the plus sized one!! I just had my 4th fill and I'm really feeling a difference, I feel like I'm about the turn the corner.

great goodness Cheryl you have lost a person.. You did good ... I think it does take time to realize that it is possible to get to a healthy weight.. I am now 15 lbs or so from my goal and I am not stressing about it.. I will get there I just have to remind myself that it won't happen overnight... thank you for posting your pictures..

You look good but the blouse looks a bit big on you , thanks I am glad you said it took three years as I really would love to be at goal I was thinking this last 50 to 40 lbs is hard to lose but I am still working with the band as it will work with me , so until the time comes I have still lost a good amount since Sept of 2012 so I will keep on doing what I am doing for me.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
