mumoftwo 34 Posted January 18, 2014 Weight day of op 118 kg (perth story) Day one was fine. I was in surgery first up 8am, Barack to my room at 10.30am. I had minimal pain and discomfort until 6.30pm when the nausea started. I was being sick every 45-60 mins. Not much sleep night one. Day two didn't change. I had to have my swallow test postponed for a few hours while they tried to reduce my vomiting. I must have had three injections and countless things put in my IV. Did the swallow, pretty nasty actually. Vomiting easing by night, but didn't completely stop until 4am. Day three and still in hospital. Vomiting stopped early this morning and I can finally start sipping my Water. It's slow going. Walked the corridors a few times, showered and relaxing with gossip girl. Preying for a good night sleep. And that my surgeon lets me go home tomorrow. 1 sweetjam69 reacted to this

mumoftwo 34 Posted January 19, 2014 Day four - surgeon came in this morning. Yippee, I'm aloud to go home today. Bit of an unsettled night, had some discomfort in my right side, not sure why. Hurts when I pee and if I moved suddenly. Had first BM today. And was taken off IV in the middle of the night. Apple juice this morning was like the best present ever. No scales yet, but hopefully didn't gain to much from all the IV fluids.
