MIMISAN 404 Posted August 5, 2015 I actually started my 6 month supervised dieting on July 21st. It really is a low carb diet with lots of Water. So far I am doing very well and I have lost 12lbs as of 8/3/14 (by my scale). I attribute this to not cheating with carbs and by quitting cokes cold turkey. I usually drank at least one a day but usually two and haven't had one since the 21st. I had a headache for a bout 3 days but since I am still drinking coffee that helped a lot. I am determined to get some of this weight off even if I never get the surgery, so I am not cheating and sticking very much to plan. The truth is that if you can't follow the plan to get the surgery you probably won't follow it well after the surgery so I am just looking at this as my new way of eating. Trying to use food as fuel instead of as a reward.
