Really tight in early pregnancy?

Recommended Posts

I have not had a fill or unfill in like a year and had been able to eat mostly what I wanted. I’ve been exceptionally tight for like the last few weeks. Now my period is supposed to start and it hasn’t and I’m not even crampy. Anyone else get a really tight band in very early pregnancy? I’m going to test if I don’t start soon.

My band is really tight an I can barley hold any solid food down. I had 1 fill since 2011 then wks after had it all removed due to same sxs's unable to hold Fluid or solid down, I hope this get's better :/

Hoping you find some relief! I had about 2cc's removed during my first Lapband pregnancy (ended in m/c at 10wks).. This time, I was doing very well until last week. I don't know if its stomach virus going around or if its my gall bladder again but I am going in Monday to get Fluid removed. I eat and within minutes to 1 hour, I am vomiting everything up. I've lost 7 pounds in less than a week. :(

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
