shanatx 33 Posted January 17, 2014 I was banded 12/18/2013. I still have pain at the port area when I bend slightly. Just brushing my teeth can spark pain. All incisions seem to be fine. If anyone remembers, how long did it take for you to have no more pain at the port area? 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and kll724 reacted to this
MandaMom23 684 Posted January 17, 2014 The port site always takes the longest to heal. I had port pain for quite some time after surgery. I couldn't sleep on my stomach for over 6 weeks. It'll get better, just hang in there! 6 Bandista, Debbie3sons, ☠carolinagirl☠ and 3 others reacted to this
shanatx 33 Posted January 17, 2014 Thank you - I'm just praying nothing has happened with my port! Unfortunately, I don't know how I would know. 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and kll724 reacted to this

kll724 3,055 Posted January 18, 2014 Well best wishes, sometimes it takes awhile to get the discomfort to pass. I made the mistake once, to balance a box on my stomach, as fat people do, OMG did it hurt, and made sure never to do that again. best wishes, Karen..aka.kll724 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
