Ballermom 803 Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) I had a Migraine headache and went to work with it. But it would have been easier to stay in a dark room. I just need to try hydrating. Dont like to take medication. Curious Anyone have Migraines? what helps looking to change things. Thought i had stopped getting them. nomytx 76 Posted January 17, 2014 I have suffered with Migraines for years. I had hoped that after surgery and as i lost weight they would stop. No luck! Since this past Saturday (1/11/14) I have been suffering a headache with dizzy spells, lightheaded, light sensitivity (all the signs of a Migraine minus the severe pain.) I don't know what to do. I have take my migraine medication; it did not work. I have even gone to my doctors for injections and I still feel the same. 1 Ballermom reacted to this
Stephannie 300 Posted January 17, 2014 I feel for you. I too am a severe Migraine sufferer with light sensitivity, vomiting, blind spots, the whole nine yards. Although I wouldn't change a thing. They've gotten worse through the weight loss. I've tried Botox and every migraine med under the sun and the only thing that helps is time and narcotic pain Meds. As of 1/15 I've decided to get off of all Meds and eat clean. I want a clean slate and to get all the Meds and toxins out. I'm scared to death of having an untreated headache but also scared of living the rest of my life on heavy Meds. I've tried everything else. Now I just lean on my faith and try to take the upper hand and power through. Wish me luck. No headache yet but next week I'm on my typical window so nervous. Good luck to you. moni75 22 Posted January 17, 2014 I have suffered with Migraines and even woke up with one the night of my surgery. I take Imitrex 100mg and it works wonders. I use to even take the shots but decided the pills are better for me even though they take about 45min to kick in & work. I've tried every other migrain med & this has been the best for me. Good luck! 1 Ballermom reacted to this
NMJG 1,266 Posted January 17, 2014 I get them all the time. Couldn't function without Imitrex. 1 Ballermom reacted to this
Good Molly 17 Posted January 17, 2014 Haven't had surgery yet but I take Imitrex in spray fast acting or try Maxalt-MLT it melts on your tongue. I was taking Topimax but that made my hair fall out, it was good for 3 months. Ask your doctor for toradol in a short form. I also vomit when I get Migraines so I take phenagran or zofran. I used to take inderal for my migraines and zomig. I used to wake up everyday with one and after I got my CPAP machine I don't get them that often. 1 Ballermom reacted to this

Yes my Nuerologist told me to take CQ10 3 times a day and it works. I rarely have a migraine any more and they aren't to bad any more. It takes a while to get in your system and keep it there I take 200 gummies 3 x a day. 2 Ballermom and Booiam reacted to this
