Bronco0605 135 Posted January 17, 2014 I was just started on this medication by my surgeon at 8 weeks post op. I am wondering who else is taking this drug and what your experience with it has been. So far I am finding that it tastes better in applesauce than yogurt but it is very bitter and seems to upset my stomach no matter what. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

lsereno 2,525 Posted January 18, 2014 I took it it the first six months. I didn't notice that it upset my stomach, but it took from the second day post op. My tummy was sensitive post op, but not a lot more than anyone else's, except I still can't do much dairy roger tat garden cheeses and Greek yogurt. Recycled 2,182 Posted January 18, 2014 (edited) An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I am going to ask my Surgeon about putting me on it at my first po office appointment. I will be about 2 weeks out then. Anything is worth it in my book if it will help prevent a repeat visit to the OR to remove the gallbladder.
