.....eating slowly. I still can barely bother sitting down at the table because I won't be there that long. It's like I find eating slightly annoying, so I want to get it over with as quickly as possible.

drinking enough Water. Right after the surgery I was able to sip Water and did get the 96 oz a day most days. However, in the past few months I have not been keeping up with this goal. I average 30 oz a day. I know I need to drink more but don't seem to be able to keep up with the "sipping" all day long. I can take 5-6 swallows at one time and then forget to drink again for a few hours.

Getting my Vitamins in! Ugh, I don't know what my problem is, but I've noticed if it's a super busy Saturday, I'll notice on Sunday that I forgot

to take half of them from the day before. I have to space most of them out because they make me feel sick. Any advice to this would be helpful!

Eating the same sh*% over and over! No variety in my diet. I've got a handful of things I know meet my calorie/carb/ Protein marks so I just stick with them

Oh and also jack and diet coke. I'm gonna take heat for that one. Lol

Eating slowly.

Taking my Vitamins.

Every shake is sweet. I've actually gotten tired of sweet stuff! If you had told me that BEFORE surgery--I'd never have believed it. I want something other than sweet in my mouth. Guess it's time for some "alone" time with my dear husband 'wink'---Sorry I'd use smileys and such but the firewall at work stops me from being able to do so. Speaking of which--I'd better get back to work.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
