My hubby has always liked me in hats...And right now it is a fashion trend to wear them....I have gotten several now and wear them out when ever I go anywhere....

He smiles and smiles when I wear them now and so I just purchased 3 more.........They are felt and cool!!!!!!!!

What is next I wonder...

My daughter tells me that I have a plan of how I want to look when this is over whether or not I know what it is..And so I am slowly working towards it.................I wonder who she will be at the end of the weight loss...

I can't wait until she completely emerges....Ready or not here she comes......hehehehe

The thigh high boots are iffy at best...lol....A leather jacket can be added to that list...I love them..i have 4 right now...would like to have every color possible.......I feel so thin in them....hehehehehe

Living in Georgia, I don't get the opportunity to wear leather often, but I still have one I LOVE from when I lived in Chicago (need it when I go to visit)... I will hate giving it up... guess I'll need to find a new one for my Midwest visits... and yes, I feel so good in it, like you, RJ, it brings my "sexy back" :)

Your hubby must feel like a kid in a candy store!!!...

He actually told me the other day that he cannot put into words how he feels about all the changes....His face just goes red and he kinda studders.....LOL

He just keep asking me when we are going to start to relax a little...see he is having trouble keeping up with me....

Give the old boy a little chance to catch up. He spent all that time worrying about you during your ordeal that he didn't have time to adjust. In the mean time your body was healing and you were losing weight. Now you are much healthier and ready to go and he has to try to keep up. It is like you lost years and are now younger and he is trying to figure out how to be with this new, young (HOT) wife!!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
