Snafu 7 Posted January 13, 2014 Ok I need some help. My surgery is Tuesday and I started my liquid diet yesterday. Yesterday afternoon I started feeling like my heart was palpating. I'm not sure what it is or could be. I don't feel overly nervous but I wonder if this is just anxiety? Anyone else experience this?
mokee 588 Posted January 13, 2014 You may be low in potassium. Call your surgeons office and inform them what is going on. Blood work may be in order.
runnergirlsmom 6 Posted January 13, 2014 It was happening to me too, especially at night before sleep. But the great thing is I'm 3 months out with 30 pounds gone and haven't had them since. Night time was when I couldn't control the worrying even though during the day I felt fine.
feedyoureye 3,087 Posted January 13, 2014 Could be AFib... could be nerves or even caffeine... I have AFib, and they still did the surgery, but its something you will want to have looked at. The sooner the better.
