lhargis 23 Posted April 8, 2014 Bummer! I gained 3.5 pounds. I have a Protein Shake in the a.m. An egg in the afternoon, and for dinner I have a piece of chicken, steak, or hamburg. I'm lactose intolerant so it's hard to find safe foods to eat. I'm working out everyday. I'm confused as to why I'm gaining. It could be muscle gain from the weight loss, exercise, and Protein intake. It could also be Water weight. I am constantly battling with water weight. If I don't take a diuretic, I gain 5-15 pounds in water. I am hoping this stops once I drop more weight. If you are really concerned, talk to your medical support group. 1 Meintraining reacted to this

loving.life 110 Posted April 16, 2014 I don't know what I would do if I couldn't workout. Its never been something I had to push myself to do but rather push not to overdo. I gained weight after I quit smoking and a hysterectomy 4 yrs ago but still jogged. 1 anewme0108 reacted to this
Big Silly 11 Posted April 22, 2014 Hi there, been a while since I checked in! Things are going well, I had my 3 month post op appointment yesterday I am down 70 pounds, the doctor and nutritionist are very happy with my progress and say I am right on track. I was worried that the weight is coming off a bit quick, she reassured me that I am right where I need to be. I feel like a completely different person, my energy levels are off the charts, I can go from 6AM until 10PM, I am going to work, working out and currently taking a certification course at the local college. I wish I had done this years ago, I regret wasting the time I have.. I hope everyone else is doing well. 3 Kookichu, Meintraining and anewme0108 reacted to this

path2me 29 Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Hair loss? ? I knew it would happen but wow!! If I wasn't slipping into size 6 shorts I'd be devastated at the handfuls that come out every wash. Anyone know of anything that helps (besides biotin) or when it is supposed to stop?? Edited April 25, 2014 by path2me
Doing It 4 Them 84 Posted April 25, 2014 Hair loss? ? I knew it would happen but wow!! If I wasn't slipping into size 6 shorts I'd be devastated at the handfuls that come out every wash. Anyone know of anything that helps (besides biotin) or when it is supposed to stop?? WTG on the size 6! Make sure you are getting in your Protein. I think I've read it stops around 7 months? I'm not positive. I use a Nioxin Shampoo and conditioner from Sally's Beauty Supply. I'm not sure if it will help but I guess it won't hurt.

Oh well, I'll wear a ponytail until it comes back... Or maybe get extensions once it stops falling out. Edited April 27, 2014 by path2me
