Not doing good with foods!

Recommended Posts

I am 4 weeks out and have a terrible lump in the back of my throat. I am constantly gagging when I think of eating or drinking? I don't have pain in my stomach just feel nauseated ALL the time. I am taking protonics. Has anyone had this issue???

I got my surgery on December 26th, I'm almost 3 weeks out and I have the same problem, sometimes also when I try to eat my pureed foods my throat hurts and right in the middle of my chest it starts to hurt really bad, but I get the whole nausea thing, it hurts and stuff, but hopefully its just a phase!

I went to see my NUT, she said "you're fine, it just takes some people longer than others to progress". She gave me a list of new things to try on a daily basis, so I will give it a go. By the way......I lost 6 lbs since the 8th. I know that from not being able to eat anything but broth....YUCK! I am so ready to try Wendy's chili.....small of course. My husband had a large one last night...he said "it will probably take you 2 days to eat this". Yep!
