Ohhhhh, emmmm, geeeee, you guys, this flatulence is ridiculous!! LoL!!!

Sorry for the tmi comment but I'm weirded out because Beans have NEVER had this effect on me. Sheesh!! And I've made chili before and this has never happened. Anywhooo, I have about six servings in the freezer- and I don't care. Hubby better cover his ears for the next week or so.

Hot butterfly, Love your keeping it real! Lol. I'm in the other spectrum, I am prisoner to my gas. I can't burp with the hernia repaired and I am not doing the other either. Who would have thought a gal would pray for a fart?

I am now 2 weeks. And feel I might implode. Finally did get some relief the other night and it was hilarious. My 4 year old slept with me that night and I had my escape valve finally blow. Here is this little guy who out of dead sleep wakes and says "Mom, if you fart again and giggle shaking the bed I'm sending you to jail. I need to sleep not worry about breathing." I told him I was to be called the Tormentor. Gotta love a kid that young that has such a great sense of humor already.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
