GENNYOSKINNY 78 Posted January 9, 2014 Hi Im 8 months post-op and looking for some new ideas. Any help is appreciated!
joatsaint 2,814 Posted January 10, 2014 My diet revolves around black Beans, lentils, pork loin, chicken breast, ground turkey meat, Brussel sprouts, yellow squash and as of yesterday - spaghetti squash. When they're available, I like oranges, pineapple, apples, and grapes. My dad's satsuma tree produces in the winter, right now I'm snacking on them. I tend to avoid anything that is processed or really limit my intake of it. 3 JOANNE M HOLL, Kay__S and GENNYOSKINNY reacted to this
NMJG 1,266 Posted January 10, 2014 I am into greens right now, collards, kale, mustard greens. Sauteed with olive oil and garlic, or roasted, or cooked down in a pot with some ham or bacon. Yummy. 3 Kay__S, GENNYOSKINNY and BabySheldon reacted to this

lsereno 2,525 Posted January 10, 2014 Which low cal whole grain crackers do you get? I like the Special K whole grain crackers, Ry-Krisp, and Dr. Kracker pumpkin Seed and Cheddar crackers. I eat them with Protein such as a low fat cheese so they make a filling nutritious snack. It's a fine line. I have to like them, but not so much that they constantly call "eat me!" Foods that constantly call " eat me" do not get to come home with me. Lynda 3 BabySheldon, GENNYOSKINNY and yjt45 reacted to this
