SparkleCat 521 Posted January 9, 2014 I just scheduled my sleeve for April (if all goes well with classes and insurance!) I am a single, 44 year old woman who lives in Denver and while I have some friends here...family is out of state and neither friends or family really understand why I am doing this. I would love to find/ meet some folks in the Denver area who have gone through bariatric surgery or are in the process of getting WLS. Thanks Much,...y'all are an inspiration to those of us just starting down this path! 2 CoffeeGrinDR and princezzanjeliq reacted to this
Dani.o.dani 67 Posted January 27, 2014 Hi! I'm Dani and I had my sleeve on Tuesday January 21st, 2014. I live on the Littleton/Centennial border. My insurance is Kaiser. Dr Chae did my surgery at St Josephs hospital in Denver. I'm originally from Aurora, but many generations of my family are natives from Silverton and Boulder. I'm a married 33 year old mother of two. I look forward to being fit in the fittest of all 50 states. Hope your journey goes wonderfully! Keep me posted on your progress. 1 smallnavajo reacted to this

Kiap82 239 Posted January 27, 2014 Great!!!!. Maybe we could set up a gathering? Maybe at a park or something? I'd love to chat with people who know or want to know what going through this is like. I love this forum but it would be nice to connect in person too.

kscott 5 Posted March 3, 2014 Hello, I'm doing well. I am 2 1/2 weeks Post Op from my bypass and down 45lbs. I am down 64lbs since Pre Op in November. Although I have at least another 80lbs to go, I'm feeling great. I have been working with a personal trainer 2 days a week for about a month now and he's helping to keep my motivated. 1 weightlossdiva1234 reacted to this
