mirabb2002 14 Posted January 8, 2014 Hi I'm almost done with my supervised diet but felling confused. Is the supervised diet consist of 26 weeks? I completed two sessions of three months each of 12 weeks. I don't want to get denied because of something so petty. Any advise is it completion of 2 (12 week rounds) or a total of 26 weeks? sophiepants 489 Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) I had a 3 month medically supervised diet. I just had to go meet my NUT once a month. I didn't have to lose weight but I couldn't gain any either. I believe if you go monthly it should suffice. Keep us posted. It just occurred to me.....are you going weekly? My surgeons office was very familiar about my insurance and what they required I followed everything to a tee. I also couldn't lose any weight or would drop below 40 BMI and my ins requires 40. Like I mentioned I thought I had two weeks to go but I was wrong I have 4 more weeks to go. Which I don't mind but I don't want to go below 41 bmi just like yourself. I've already lost 42 pounds and losing 6 more pounds will put me at 40. I'm scared if I go below I will not qualify. I'm super nervous and anxious, I just wished I knew already.
