Euroyen99 37 Posted January 8, 2014 Had my sleeve done on March 18th 2013. It was the best decision I have made in a long time. I have primarily followed all of the direction given me by the institute where I was a self pay client here in Newport Beach Ca. I exercise with a trainer 3 days a week and on my own two days a week. My starting weight was 398 pounds and today i weighed in at 250 lbs. 148 pounds total loss so far. I am 6'2" and am a former football player. I have now revised my goal and am shooting for 230 pounds, but it will take a while. The last scan I had showed that my lean muscle mass was 198 pounds, so I feel that 230 will be a reasonable number. I feel a lot better than I did at my highest weight and am overjoyed at my ability to play with my kids and not be sweaty and huffing and puffing. Mentally I am still having some trouble not viewing myself as fat or morbidly obese. I am attaching a photo of my chart that shows the weight loss. The chart shows the weight loss from about April. I am grateful for this site and am so happy with my progress. 4 cubbies76, Febi135, thesmilos and 1 other reacted to this

SuzyB 182 Posted January 8, 2014 You are doing great. Keep working toward IMO reasonable goal. It is great you are looking at lean muscle mass vs fat, I think it is easy to overlook the fact muscle weighs more than fat.
