caroline2 89 Posted January 6, 2014 I need help, please. I was sleeved 6 weeks ago. My husband of 16 years passed away Saturday. I'm feeling very dizzy and lightheaded this morning. Makes me nervous to get out of chair. I've been drinking, of course not near 64oz. Eating, but not as much as I should. Urinating normally. Any suggestions? Thank you
Fluffnomore 1,235 Posted January 6, 2014 First of all, I am so sorry for your loss. I'm sure there are a million reasons you are dizzy and lightheaded. You might be dehydrated so push the fluids, maybe get yourself a Protein shake too. I'm guessing that you have 1,000 things to attend to today, but maybe check in with your doctor when you can. Again, so so sorry. 3 Memily, chefcoll and nursekimberly89 reacted to this

kyleebean 209 Posted January 6, 2014 I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what you must be feeling. Taking care of yourself needs to be a priority and I suspect you do not have the emotional energy to even do that. Do you have friends and family who are with you to encourage and support you? Are you getting any sleep? Obviously drinking and eating what you can is important, but I think resting your mind may be the best thing you can do. Touch base with your doctor about how you are feeling and if you need any medication for sleep and/or anxiety. The other thing that comes to mind is to make sure you have someone to talk to, whether that be a professional or friends or family. Again, I am so sorry for your enormous loss. Take care and peace to you.
