Informal research question

I'm cross posting this in pre-op and post-op

How many of you think it would have been helpful to have a social worker (therapist) who has been through this procedure on staff and your surgeons office? You could talk to them about fears, concerns, etc. both pre-op and post-op. This would be short term therapy or just when the client needed it. Thanks for your response.

I have a wonderful support person that gives you support throughout the process and 1 year after your surgery her name is Sally Green . It has been very helpful . I believe all programs should offer this .

I think that would be great....a wonderful idea to have a ongoing support system like this.
