Hey lipstick lady doesnt seem to believe my weight loss and thinks im here to sell something. Well wrong. I signed ul to share experiences and help people. Want before and after well look at my face here and go to my Facebook page and see my photos in a maroon dress shirt,, I dont lie andi dont care if u dont believe me or not.must be jealousy or something ridiculous. She reported me for solicitstion. Never have I done that. If real nice people want to chat just send me a message.. 180 since april. Sorry 9 months. Oooops. Off by 1 month.. I wish all the best

We are nothing but honest on here, so on that basis, wasn't just LL who had concerns, I reported your post too. The pre-op tag had been used a few days ago by someone claiming similar weight loss and it turned out he hadn't had wls and was trying to sell to us.

We are protective of each other on here and honesty is the currency - if it something doesn't feel right, I will challenge it. But I got it wrong about you and for that I apologise unreservedly.

But my question still stands - do you have lots of loose skin after such rapid weight loss???

Did you experience any gallbladder problems losing that much weight that quickly?

No gall bladder problem. No loose skin because about 8 years ago I lost 160 on my own and had the full skin removal procedure. Then my dad passed 4 years ago and I regaind all weight plus some. I was so worried I would stdetch back out but when I lost the weight my stomach stayed flat as a board. A little excess skin under top part of arm but thats it. Very happy about that.

Re Dizzy. Yes I lost so quick I got dizzy because blood pressurewas to low andi was still on blood pressure pills. Dr took me righ off all medicine and now im fine sleep apnea gone as well.

That's amazing! Great work! I've never been an exerciser (well after high school... Was on track and tennis teams) but it looks like that's going to be what I need to work towards, after my surgery. I'm so heavy I find it hurts my knees a lot. What did you start with? Just planning ahead. My surgery is scheduled for Feb. 4th. I'm getting the sleeve and having the lapband removed. Anyone know how to change your profile? Mine still says lapband, but after surgery I want to change it. Thanks! ???? Also everyone post their weights, but no one says how tall they are. People start the surgery at 220 and I'm like wow, I can't wait to be 220. But I'm guessing they are much shorter... Anyway now I'm rambling. ????

Just walk walk walk and walk some more. I was walking 2x per day at 1 hour each time. now i not do as much walking cause I'm in the gym doing a plan. I still do minimum 35 min cardio per day but now weights involved,

So basically 2 hours a day of walking? Wow... I need to get a treadmill or something. I'm a teacher and a single mom of an active teenager... I've got to be present. I know from experience even when I'm tired... exercising gives you energy...it's just doing it. Alright. Going to make it a goal... Thanks!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
