buddy567 5 Posted January 1, 2014 I was banded on the 30th - I did not have gas pain in my shoulders at all. In fact was pretty comfortable. But now I keep getting pains in the middle of my chest, kinda of by me breast bone. Feels almost like a spasm in my diaphram??? Any one else have this? I am thinking it is gas in my stomach causes this. 1 kll724 reacted to this
kll724 3,055 Posted January 1, 2014 Probably gas! Take it easy, it has only been two days. By the way, my shoulder pain from gas did not start for about 5 days after surgery. You could be experiencing a multitude of things right now. Take your pain meds if you have them, or if not try some Tylenol liquid available at most drug stores. Best wishes for a Happy 2014 and new you, too! Karen..aka..kll724 1 mrsto reacted to this
LindafromFlorida 1,542 Posted January 1, 2014 I sort of feel at times since surgery something is sitting on my breastbone when I know nothing is there. I had small bouts of "gas" shoulder pain, very similar to the feeling around the breastbone. When in doubt, call your doctor! They are paid good money!!!! Best wishes. Happy New Year! 2 mrsto and kll724 reacted to this
silly_weasel 39 Posted January 1, 2014 You can also try Gas-X...it comes in dissolvable strips that you place on your tongue. If it goes away - then it's gas pain ????. Walking around also helps!
