Yep I am doing Insanity, still, got another 30 days to go. I don't think it is the workout for me, but I'm not quitting. I've hurt my foot, torn or broken the arch maybe, so anything requiring hopping or shiftung weight with force, I opt out and do ab work instead.

Butter - that occurred to me but I don't think so, this was a sudden injury and it's only in one foot and the pain is in the wrong place for plantar.

Ouch. Well I hope it heals quickly. Sorry. Have you had an X-ray yet to rule out a fracture? Stress fractures in the feet are very common and they take forever to heal because we never stay off them.

I was going to say if you think it's PF there is nothing better than making fists with your toes on carpet to help that.

I admire all of u with ur running. I've always wanted to run but was run over by a dump truck in 1962 and was never able to run after that. Years later with an artificial hip and fibro, I'll stick to my PT and walking. Going for a walk in the woods later today when I visit my family.

If it is a fracture then I will be sent home, and I've only got 2 months left. For now I am ace bandaging the arch and doing floor work in Insanity. One thing I learned from Pilates is that you actually don't have to move insanely to achieve intense muscle work.

I got in almost 3 miles of walking today with no pain. A good day. Plus my ab crunches.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
