Hello is there anyone put there that is 2 years or more post sleeve? If so I need help. I'm stuck at 75#. I have 30 more to go . I have been cross fitting for the last 1 1/2 years 3 days a week and cardio 3 other days. But the weight won't come off. Any suggestions?

I am not two years out, but find your comment about cross fit versus weight stall interesting.

I also cross fit, but do it for 5 days a week and find that it requires a lot of eating to keep my weight in range (8 meals a day) . A lot of that eating is Protein. If I do not eat at least 2000 calories a day, I will drop a few pounds a week. And with that goes some muscle. So I am pretty protective of eating enough.

I am going to drill you with a few questions. I hope you do not mind. :)

How does your diet look? Are you eating paleo or zone style? Something else?

Do you take 2 rest days a week (important -repair and build time)?

Do you sleep enough at night (7-9 hours - repair and build time)?

Do you drink at least 100 oz a day (good in order to flush toxins from working out)?

How intense are your workouts (1-10)? Not every day can be 10, but you should consistently feel like 8-9.

Are you participating in as many different WOD as you can, not just the ones you are good at? New activity is important for your body to not get complacent.

If I were to ask about your WOD times and intensity, would you consider yourself pushing yourself to get the best time you are able to and to the point of exhaustion?

If you are able to, I would just do cross fit 5 days a week and cut out the other cardio. Just my opinion. It will give you better results if you can physically and financially handle that. Along those lines, I noticed when I switched from 2 days CF / 3-4 days cardio running to 5 days CF, my weight loss (-20#) and body composition (-6 bf %) changed quickly (took about 2 months). Yes, I am sore all the time, but that comes with pushing through it day after day. Be sure to do a lot of daily mobility so your body will cooperate over time (I do 30+min of mobility a day, most of it is actually at home).

Sorry for all the questions. Answering these might uncover something important that will answer your question to weight loss stall. I still am fairly new at it myself,so do not think I know everything. Everyday I am learning new techniques or new exercises.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
