When will internal gas finally go away?

I'm about two weeks removed from surgery and feel like I'm 98% back to normal. No pain, no mobility issues. The only slight discomfort that remains is what seems to be some mild gas discomfort when food initially enters my stomach. When does this typically go away?

If you search on this issue you'll find that "bubble guts" ad I've seen it dubbed for some people never go away.

I think it tends to stay with most people but some do manage to escape it.

I'm 10 weeks and last night I had bubble guts after I ate a light cheese stick.
