I am 3 weeks out and have a bowel movement maybe twice a week. Is there anything I can take?

Metamucil worked for me immediately after surgery.

I also have been taking Colace - this has worked the best, but it's not a long term solution per my doctor. She wants me to go back to Metamucil.
