okletsdoit 1 Posted January 17, 2014 When is your surgery?
Sherry S 103 Posted January 19, 2014 No date has been set. I want the sleeve but Medicare says its on a case by case basis. It will pay for the RNY and band. Other states medicare pays for the sleeve but AZ is one of a few states that might not. Medicare will pay if the pt is under 62 for the sleeve.

Purple Iris 14 Posted March 15, 2014 Hi Everyone!!! I live in Chandler and am waiting for insurance approval. I'm working with Banner Gateway in Gilbert and Dr. Podkomeni. Dr. Pod recommended bypass for me because I have acid reflux. I'm pretty sure surgery will be in April at this point as I have to do a 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Would love to hear from others about your experience with the pre-op diet and what Vitamins you are taking. Good Luck to everyone!!!!! 2 epiphani and Susysleever reacted to this
AshleePage 65 Posted June 7, 2014 Hello! I'm in Phx as well. I'm currently jumping through all of the insurance hoops & hope to have surgery in August! Until then, I'm just trying to prepare mentally & physically. Testing Protein Powder & learning to chew more. Wishing you all success! 2 epiphani and TerryC reacted to this
