There is nothing that will help, not even Biotin. Hopefully, it will stop soon.

I have long hair. I have lost a lot of hair. Jan 11th I will be at 6 months. It is starting to slow down. At 4 months it was a lot more. One thing I did was I bought a old fashioned hair brush. One that has soft bristles. All I can explain is it looks like the old ones that used to sit on vanity tables of women years ago. Like 1900's. I found one in CVS pharmacy. I swear right away I was not pulling my hair out every time I brushed my hair. My issue is my hair gets tangled and then when I used my regular old brush clumps would come out but with the new brush it barely happens anymore.

There's another brush on the market called the Wet Brush, and I have found the same thing. I have very fine hair, and use a wide toothed comb first, and then the Wet Brush. I think it minimizes the breakage.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
