kledislynn's mommy 12 Posted December 27, 2013 Haven't had surgery yet (April 25 is my date) but I have a question for y'all that have had it... I have fat hands. Like I wear a size 11 ring in my ring finger... Did your hands and wrists slim down as well?? Please let me know I'm worried I'll look like a clown with a little body and big man hands... HoosierGirl 780 Posted December 27, 2013 Yes - my left ring finger went from a size 7.5 to a size 5.5. My wrists are much smaller too.
kltklass 144 Posted December 27, 2013 Yes. I went from a size 9 ring to 7 1/4 and I am not near my goal weight. My wrist measurement went from a 8 to a 6 3/4. I look forward to resizing all my jewelery when I do reach goal.

mistysj 1,940 Posted December 27, 2013 I have lost several ring sizes and even my feet have gone down 1.5 sizes! Oh and necklaces hang lower. For reference I have gone from a 20w pants to a 12, same for dresses. 2xl to medium top. 44DD to 32D bra. And I expect to lose a few more sizes still. 2 abarta83 and VSG AJH reacted to this

I am going to wait Until I get to goal to get it resized. 1 kltklass reacted to this
erp 2,016 Posted December 27, 2013 My wrists are a lot smaller. I can take most of my bracelets off without unclasping them. Got a Bracelet from the hubs for Xmas and it slides to the middle of my forearm. It is 7.5 inches. We are debating on if it is too big and needing to return it. newlife281013 98 Posted December 27, 2013 I'm not even wearing my wedding ring right now because I'm afraid to lose it. I am going to wait Until I get to goal to get it resized. A girl I met at clinic put away her wedding ring and bought a $20 cheap ring cause people were asking if her marriage was ok. She ended up buying 3 rings until she was at her goal then had her wedding and engagement ring resized 3 kellyann1, Madelyne Bonthron and VSG AJH reacted to this
VSG AJH 499 Posted December 27, 2013 I've always had size 10 fingers. I'm three weeks post-op, and down 37.7 total. Just had to add a Ring Snuggie to keep my wedding band from slipping off my slimmer fingers. (Picked these up in the Wal-Mart jewelry section, $3 for a 6-pack.) Nurse_B 270 Posted December 27, 2013 It's funny you asked that, it was one of the first things I noticed that was smaller!! I wear gloves at work a lot (I'm a nurse), and I noticed the mediums were getting tight before surgery. About two weeks after surgery, I noticed the mediums were actually easy to get on, and now almost a month out they are too big. I also notice, when I clasp my hands together, they actually can clasp comfortably (weird thing to notice, I know!). They are not swollen anymore, they look smaller as well. 1 kltklass reacted to this
