spoiledbratt97 18 Posted December 25, 2013 (edited) Ever since I lost weight my butt is always sore. I can sit for a few mins and it feels like I've been sitting for hours. Does anyone have this problem. I'm not sure is it bcuz I lost a lot of muscle in my butt or what. Its very annoying. I guess I'll ask the Dr when I go for my annual check up. No game 14,437 Posted December 25, 2013 It happens to do many of us after rapid weight loss... I've lost weight before and never had this problem but since the surgery and lost wait even sitting for a few minutes hurts. If you google "sore tailbone after losing weight" You will get pages of theories. The padding or skin on the actual tail bone becomes very thin why I don't know.. No game 14,437 Posted December 25, 2013 The best advice I've read is to do squats and lunges to build up the muscles there. Or as my husband says just get up off your lazy (skinny) azz.. 1 ReDbEaN reacted to this
able2cope 193 Posted December 27, 2013 I have this issue too - sitting in the car for anything longer than 15 mins is painful!
Madam Reverie 2,958 Posted December 27, 2013 I'm getting it on my hip bones when I wake up... Its not nice... and also my shoulders... I was actually giving consideration to get some of that padding they use for people who are bed-bound, it's that sore!

Catherine707 253 Posted January 2, 2014 I'm so glad that this problem isn't unique to me! I had ankle surgery and have been almost completely sedentary since Oct 18th, in the past month my butt has been so sore and uncomfortable. I've lost 90 pounds since March 2013 and still have 50 to go. Any suggestions for how to relieve the pain?
