JerseyGirl68 1,172 Posted January 6, 2014 We all must have been doing the same thing over the holidays.. I have also finally gotten rid of the last of my too big clothes, the robe was the final piece. It was a crutch. I starting thinking that if I kept a wardrobe of bigger clothes I was kind of giving myself permission to gain, and I was prepared "Just in case". I finally decided screw it, if I gain enough to go up a size, then I deserve to Pay for it... literally. We all have our comfy clothes, that's differnt. A whole wardrobe bigger is my fat girl mentality. And I want to leave her back in 2013. Happy New Year!! 4 Band2Sleever, Indigo1991, MichiganChic and 1 other reacted to this
Swimmer 199 Posted January 7, 2014 At two years out I have a totally new wardrobe. I was a 16 and now anything bigger than a four is gone. It seemed like it took forever to get to 12 and 14 then it went very quickly. I have been pretty stable for the past six months and left no room for me to gain. I refuse to buy bigger clothes. The first batch was really hard, then it seemed I had a constant donate pile for a year. It feels good to buy clothes I can hopefully stay in forever. Even my feet are smaller. 3 Branmuffin, JerseyGirl68 and Band2Sleever reacted to this
Band2Sleever 78 Posted March 14, 2014 I am so looking forward to these moments. I am down to wearing: my last stretchy black dress ... bursting at the seams my last stretchy work skirt... bulging at the waistband my last pair of legging... hardly ever wear these as leggings are so unflattering and precisely ZERO pairs of jean... as I just can't face wearing super tight jeans and I refuse to buy any more as over a certain size I don't wear jeans at all Still nervously waiting preop for a date for my sleeve surgery. Hit the thrift store girl... then give them back when you shrink out of them. No need to punish yourself at the last minute! I just went through my closet again for like the 4th time... I still managed to find a black garbage bag worth of too big cloths to give away... I thought I had given them all up except two pairs of giant pants for the record! 1 Band2Sleever reacted to this
