Protein shakes..blah blah blah!

Hey guys..my doc has me doing Protein Shakes for two weeks post-op. I got home today, and I'm just having a heck of a time getting all this liquid down. I don't mind the taste, but that coupled with all the Water he wants me to be drinking makes me feel like i'm going to burst! Any tips on how I can get three Protein shakes down a day?

Most doctors will consider the Protein shakes as your Fluid intake for the day as well. For example if you are supposed to get 64oz Fluid in each day and 32oz of Protein Shakes - then you only need to drink 32oz of Water.

However each doctor is different and you should follow his directions.

As for getting the Water down - sip sip sip. Suck on ice as well.
