kcgeeck 8 Posted December 22, 2013 I was sleeved on Thursday and am at my parents house for the Saints game. It's also my brothers birthday. This means king cake, cookie cake, fried chicken, hot dogs, and every dip imaginable. I could use some words of encouragement because I think this will be a rough day! LindafromFlorida 1,542 Posted December 22, 2013 Did you take some Soup or yogurt for yourself? Or a shake? Good luck!
McButterpants 2,846 Posted December 22, 2013 Be strong - do not choose to put something in your mouth that you're going to regret later. Have a shake before hand - that should keep you satisfied for a while. If you feel tempted, remove yourself from the situation. I was sleeved on 11/14 and had Thanksgiving to deal with - I dealt with it by just not going to Thanksgiving dinner. Best of luck to you!
kcgeeck 8 Posted December 22, 2013 I brought some Soup. My doctor does not want me to have yogurt until days 10-14. I'm currently drinking crystal light trying to keep my mind off the food.
McButterpants 2,846 Posted December 22, 2013 Good for you. Be mindful of food pushers, too! :-) "Oh it won't hurt you to have on of these will it?" "Just try a bit of this." You'll do great - eat your Soup an enjoy time with our family. That's what it's about...TIME...not the food that's being served.
Memily 86 Posted December 22, 2013 It will be easier than you think. Bring yourself some frozen yogurt. You can do it!

There are so many good flavors out right now because if the season I just bought pumpkin spice and sugar cookie flavors from the regular grocery store
