saliyna94 1 Posted December 21, 2013 I am 5 days post op. I have been able to hold down liquids well. I only drink Water and have eaten sugar free Jello and sugar free Popsicles. I have gas and burp a lot, which i normal. But when I recently used the restroom there was blood. It only happened last night and this morning. I had my period like 2 weeks ago. kyleebean 209 Posted December 21, 2013 I started bleeding at day 3 post op and I too had already had my period a couple weeks before. ~ Lucky me~ The Dr. said this happens a lot to women because of the hormone shifts. ribearty 544 Posted December 21, 2013 I had some spotting after my surgery. I am post menopausal so it was quite a surprise. I also had another surgery 11 days after my sleeve so it may have been related to it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
