Indigo1991 1,612 Posted December 21, 2013 Going with the flow is good :-) I didn't sleep well for the first couple of weeks but every day it gets better. I was propped up in bed and that helped until I could lie down properly. Others use recliners or pillows to support their scar areas or to lie on their sides. Maybe try some of those suggestions to see if that helps. Congratulations and good luck with your new sleeve.... 1 1Day1Life4Now reacted to this

Comfy_Blue 285 Posted December 22, 2013 I'm sorry you're having a hard time sleeping. Is your incision sore? Have you tried the pillows like the other poster said? If that doesnt help what about sleeping on your back?

BabySheldon 158 Posted December 22, 2013 Yes its sore and when I move around its really sore Did your medical team send you home with pain meds? Most people get narcotic pain medication to use either during the day or particularly at night so if you're not using any pain management you can resolve some of this discomfort by using the medicine that they may have prescribed for you..good luck and congratulations!
