Unjury Protein Cheese Sauce Mix?

Recommended Posts

Have any of you tried the powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury Protein cheese Sauce Mix? I've seen mixed reviews online, either people really like it or they hate it. I love cheese and was hoping that this product would be a good choice for me.

No... I usually try and spend about $1 a serving for Protein things... this is closer to $2.30 plus shipping... but looks handy! http://www.unjury.com/store/protein/high-protein/mac-n-cheese/proteind-cheese-sauce

I bought some and personally did not care for it. It is a in a pouch and on the outside says to refrigerate when received. It is a powder that you have to mix with Water.

I got some too and felt like it was just okay. I'm not a huge cheese lover anyway so I'm sure that is part of it. Most of the bag is sitting in my fridge. I may use it to make mac and cheese for the kids.

I was able to have green veggies preop so I poured this over broccoli and spinach and Brussel sprouts. Now I'm 8 days post op and on full liquids. I just mixed this in with Swansons tortilla Soup base and YUM!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
