bloreorbust 286 Posted December 20, 2013 Have you had a massage post surgery? How do you feel about them? Share your thoughts and experiences if you would. I had a really bad experience with a massage a couple years ago after going to a chiropractor when my back went out. It was incredibly painful and I cried A LOT. However, I feel now like I may be ready to try again, and be more assertive about how I want to be touched (gently!).
kespy74 103 Posted December 20, 2013 I can't get massages either because my back is so tender in many areas. It is so painful and absoltely no enjoyment for me. Try Hot Stone massages and make sure to let them know to only use the stones to massage you. I am still pre-op but just wanted to share about hot stone massage. kraney 219 Posted December 20, 2013 I'm 9 months post op and I love my massages. I normally get them at a spa. If you are pressure sensitive or bruise easily just let your masseuse know. They are normally very accommodating as well they should be.
