kraney 219 Posted December 21, 2013 I can drink normal now. Every once in awhile I feel like I get air in with the Water which doesn't feel good. Sometimes makes the water come back up. For the most part though I'm good with drinking, sipping, gulping ( just not as fast as before). Hot water, cold water, icy water, anything now. I never thought I would see this day again, but it happens!
slomeli84 17 Posted December 21, 2013 Hello, plenty of fluids is important. For me I was very cautious of how much I was drinking. So of course I started with sips as everyone was saying. Then as the days pass, you get the feel of how much Fluid you can take at one time. What works for me is I take in a mouth full of whatever liquid and slowly swallow, that's my gulping now. It's hard because I used to be a gulper as well. Although the liquids should pass through fairly quickly.
m&m4ever 109 Posted December 24, 2013 How about sugar free ice pops? They saved me after my surgery. Water tasted gross to me after the surgery, but it passed and tastes fine now. I'm almost 5 months out.
