One week post op!

Well it's me again, so thankful for this site , one week post op today whoop whoop! My sergeon says my incisions look great! Also told me to go ahead and start eating, Protein first then green veg than anything else if I feel I can tolerate it . Had some chicken salad bout two tablespoons if that and a couple sips of chicken noodle Soup it seemed to settle ok. Such a relief than about two hours later I felt a lil hungry do I think still figuring my new stomach out . Well I had about a tablespoon of chicken Alfredo an that was all I could take it seemed to set well too! I'm thinking I should have made a better choice though , because of the Pasta. Well that's it oh forgot tomorrow will be my first day back to work! Will let you all know how it goes.

The chicken noodle Soup sounds good. I think that was my first too. Good luck at work! Walk as much as you can and warm beverage (tea, chocolate or coffee) goes good. Forget the sodas & alcohol. Praying for all in Band-Land!
